Tegan Rogers’ personal singing career has a life of its own, starting way back at 10 years of age when she had her first singing lesson to releasing her debut solo RnB album at the age of 21 to most recently recording and performing around the world with her band ‘Atlantis Awaits’.
After utilising her adolescent years developing her craft as a performer and songwriter, Tegan began writing and recording original material from the age of 15. At 19 years old Tegan signed a publishing deal with Blindfaith Entertainment (SONYATV) and recorded her debut album with Aria award winning Audius (Delta Goodrem, Jess Mauboy) and Snob Scrilla. At this time Tegan also opened her Singing School in the Sutherland Shire (Tegan’s Singing Studio) to guide and nurture emerging young talent and help them develop their vocal and performance skills. Singers such as Aria award winning Nicole Millar (Peking Duck) are among some of Tegan’s elite students.
In 2009 Tegan ventured abroad working on projects in the U.S.A and spent 2 months in Switzerland performing, writing and recording in 2010. Tegan then jumped into a new genre of music and became the new front woman of Canberra based rock band Atlantis Awaits. After recording their debut album with award winning producer Brandon Frieson (Nickleback, Avril Lavinge) in L.A, Atlantis Awaits singles ‘Letters in Wonderland’, ‘Dreamchaser’ and ‘Hourglass’ have been featured on radio and TV around Australia. After the release of their album Atlantis Awaits toured and performed around the world including Indonesia, Hollywood and Warped Tour Australia.
Tegan is still performing at various events around Australia. With over 10 years teaching experience Tegan is emerging herself into her vocal coaching and artist development at her singing studio in Sutherland and also her new studio (‘The Artist Studio‘) in Randwick.
